2014 Executive Board

President: Edwin Qian

Fraternity: Pi Kappa Phi


Edwin Qian is a third-year business student from Plano, TX, where he attended Plano Senior High School. After serving as the IFC Chief of Staff in 2013, Ed was unanimously elected by the IFC community to serve as the Council President for 2014. Ed is the first Pi Kappa Phi, as well as the first non-White student in school history to be elected IFC President at UT. As IFC President, Ed plans to rebrand the Greek Life image by uniting fraternities to develop leadership, improving the recruitment process, and highlighting philanthropic efforts.


Executive Vice President:  Andy Webber 

Fraternity:  Alpha Tau Omega

Andy Webber is a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He is a second-year student studying International Relations. Andy grew up in Boston, MA, where he went to Newton South High School. As Executive Vice President, Andy plans to manage the IFC Cabinet, implement more risk reduction educational programs for fraternities and engage more inter-fraternity relations.



Vice President, Judicial Affairs: Kyle Mason

Fraternity: Sigma Phi Epsilon

Kyle is from the Woodlands, TX, where he attended The Woodlands High School. He is a third-year studying Corporate Communications and Radio, Television, and Film. Kyle is also a member of Student Government and served as an University-Wide Representative. Kyle hopes to make sure all IFC fraternities play a positive role in the community in Austin and the University of Texas. 


Vice President, Finance:  Alex Bryan

Fraternity:  Phi Gamma Delta

Alex Bryan is third year FIJI from Southlake, TX. He is studying in the McCombs School of Business with the integrated Masters of Professional Accounting program. Alex was the Director of Scholarship for IFC in 2013 and is currently serving as the Vice President, Finance. 


Vice President, Communications:  Taylor Ellis

Fraternity:  Sigma Alpha Mu

Taylor is a third-year student from Plano, TX, majoring in Journalism. He graduated from Plano West High School, and is on the Alumni Relations committee in his fraternity. Taylor plans to develop the IFC's presence on social media and throughout the university, as well as promote the philanthropic efforts of our fraternities. 


Vice President, Recruitment:  Andrew Rubenstein

Fraternity: Sigma Alpha Mu

Andrew is a second-year student from Houston, Texas, and is majoring in Finance. After serving as Director of Recruitment in 2013, Andrew was elected to serve as VP, Recruitment this year. Andrew went to The Kinkaid School.


Vice President, Greek Relations:  Joey Reynolds

Joey Reynolds is from Austin, TX, where he attended Anderson High School. He is a second-year Finance major in the McCombs School of Business. As the VP of Greek Relations he looks to create a better, more cohesive Greek community. 


Vice President, Philanthropy: Matt Lillard

Fraternity: Pi Kappa Alpha

Matt is from Scottsdale, AZ, where he attended Chaparral High School. He is a third-year majoring in Economics. Matt served as Director of Leadership on the IFC Cabinet in 2013. As VP of Philanthropy, Matt plans on increasing greek participation in philanthropy and community service by partnering with chapters to publicize and facilitate their philanthropic efforts.
