Briefly Describe Your Chapter's Philanthropy Event : We volunteer at the Scottish Rite Children's Theatre as well as host the annual Acacia Dodgeball Tournament benefiting Any Baby Can. Other philanthropies include Shriners Childrens Hospital and Acacia Claus, where we collect toys for underprivileged children. In the past, Acacia has worked with the East Austin Food Bank, and Acacia participates in many philanthropy events organized by other student organizations such as carnivals and charity tournaments.

Briefly Describe Your Fraternity : Acacia is an international fraternity founded at the University of Michigan on May 12, 1904. We are the only general national fraternity to select an entire Greek word rather than a combination of letters for its name. One of Acacia's many meanings is distinctiveness and leadership among mankind, which all Acacians strive to fulfill.
