Briefly Describe Your Chapter’s Philanthropy Event: The men of Delta Tau Delta participate in numerous service opportunities around Austin. In the past, Delt has contributed their time to Habitat for Humanity, Adopt-a-school, and Austin Blood Drive. This year, Delt has planned a carnival for an underprivileged Austin elementary school. Futhermore, Delt has several notable leaders in the service community. UT business honors junior, Jeff Schwartz, is the Director of Texas 4000 and has raised over $ 200,000 for cancer research, while UT history senior, Evan Autry, sits on the Board of Directors for the Eastside Community Connection.
Briefly Describe Your Fraternity: Delt was nationally founded in 1858 at Bethany College and was chartered at the University of Texas in 1904. The Texas Delts boast their dedication to campus involvement, leadership, and service.
