Briefly Describe Your Chapter's Philanthropy Event : Over the years Delta Sig has raised money for YMCA, breast cancer research, the American Red Cross, and our national affiliate charity, the March of Dimes. We have hosted an array of events from benefit concerts to poker tournaments in support of these and other organizations. We are also very adamant about participation in other campus organization's events.
Briefly Describe Your Fraternity : Delta Sigma Phi was nationally founded in 1899. In 1907 the seventh chapter, Eta, was founded at the University of Texas and is now the second oldest active chapter in the system. The organization has long stood for the time honored traditions created by our founders while also embracing the new century with the philosophy of our motto, "Better Men. Better Lives." Delta Sigma Phi is brotherhood for a lifetime as we live by our core values: Culture, Harmony and Friendship. These values are shared by over 70,000 living Delta Sigs.
