PIKE and Austin Fire Foundation

IFC member fraternities endeavor to perform community service in the Austin area.  Pi Kappa Alpha has a philanthropic goal of a minimum of eight hours per man per semester in community service, equating to more than 2,000 man hours per school year.  In addition to volunteering at numerous charity events, the chapter holds fundraising events at the Pike house several times annually. A recent pizza dinner fundraiser co-hosted with Alpha Xi Delta sorority raised $2,700 to be directed to the Austin Fire Foundation and Autism Speaks.  Pike's portion of event proceeds were recently presented to Austin Fire Department Chief Tom Dodd by Pike Philanthropy Chair Cooper Carlyle '17,  Social Co-chair Will Junk '16 and fall pledge Connor Gartner '18.
