Briefly Describe Your Chapter's Philanthropy Event : Each spring our chapter hosts a Dodgeball Tournament which is open to anyone who wishes to sign up. Last year the event raised over $ 5000 for a local charity. In April 2011 we organized and hosted Locks for Lymphoma, an event where dozens of people shaved their heads as a show of support for one of our members who was diagnosed with lymphoma. The event also raised nearly $ 10,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Briefly Describe Your Fraternity : Sig Ep was founded nationally in Richmond, Virginia in 1901. The Texas Alpha Chapter at UT was founded in 1930. Today, Sig Ep ranks among the top fraternities in both manpower and academics and continues to strive for improvement.
