Briefly Describe Your Chapter's Philanthropy Event : In the Spring of 2011, ZBT hosted our annual Round Up event, ZBTahiti. ZBTahiti is a philanthropy concert and this year our headline artist was Jay-Z's protege, J.Cole. We chose to donate all of the proceeds to the LIVESTRONG Foundation in honor of a fellow brother who was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. The LIVESTRONG Foundation and Lance Armstrong reached out to him during his battle, and he beat the cancer. The Lambda Chapter of ZBT is proud to announce that we raised $ 5,000 for the LIVESTRONG Foundation.

Briefly Describe Your Fraternity : Zeta Beta Tau was founded in 1898 at Columbia University. The Phi Sigma Delta chapter of the University of Texas merged with Zeta Beta Tau in the 60's. Since then, the Texas Lambda chapter has grown to prosper as one of the strongest fraternities on campus. Each year, ZBT members participate in brotherhood, philanthropy, and social events. We are also proud of our academic achievement of consistently having one of the highest GPAs among all fraternities at UT.
